BoredMondays is about finding out what your friends really think — not tearing people down. These rules apply everywhere: Picks, comments, messages, profiles, and Bored Rooms.
✅ Do
- Keep People Picks playful, positive, and aspirational.
- Respect people's choice to opt out or remove themselves from a Pick.
- Rate things, not bodies.
- Keep Bored Rooms welcoming — follow the host's vibe and the audience class.
- Say hi to people you actually want to connect with, and respect a decline.
- Report anything that feels unsafe — especially anything involving a minor.
🚫 Don't
- Bullying, harassment, or stalking
- Hate, discrimination, or slurs
- Threats or inciting violence
- Sexual content, especially anything involving minors
- Grooming or sexual solicitation of minors (zero tolerance)
- Doxxing or sharing others' private information
- Impersonation
- Spam, scams, or deceptive promotion
- Body or attractiveness ranking of people
- Targeted, humiliating, or non-consensual People Picks
- Encouraging self-harm or eating disorders
- Circumventing the adult↔minor safety gate (e.g. lying about your age)
How we enforce
Reports are triaged by an automated jurisdiction system that prioritizes urgent cases — child safety, credible threats, and self-harm — and may recommend immediate action like hiding a message or ending a room. Content can be removed and accounts restricted or terminated for serious or repeated violations. You can appeal significant decisions via the Safety Center.
Live chat & rooms
Bored Room chat is live and energetic — keep it fun. Hosts and Mods can warn, mute, timeout, kick, or room-ban anyone breaking these rules, and turn on Slow Mode or lock chat. BoredGuard automatically blocks clear abuse in chat; playful banter and trash talk about Picks is fine. Room bans only affect that room — they're not a platform ban.
Adults & minors
Adults and minors can't say hi to or message each other, and 18+ rooms can't include minors. Lying about your age to get around this is a serious violation.
