Safe Play — For Parents
A plain-language look at how BoredMondays Safe Play works and what it does — and doesn't — collect.
What Safe Play is
Safe Play is gameplay, not social media. A child answers a short round of fun, pre-approved Picks and gets a playful recap (a "Pick Vibe") based only on that round. It's not a personality test or psychological assessment.
What it does NOT do
Safe Play does not create an account, username, profile, or friend list. There is no messaging, no public posting, no image upload, no contact upload, no location sharing, and no public discovery. Nothing follows the child from one round to the next.
Where answers stay
Safe Play answers are processed on the device. They are not sent to an external AI, an advertiser, or a behavioral profile. The round's answers are discarded when the round ends — there is no central history.
No ads, no purchases, no nudges
Safe Play is ad-free. There are no sponsored Picks, no behavioral advertising, no subscription prompts, and no push notifications or streaks designed to pull the child back.
Aggregate counts only
We may collect anonymous, aggregated counts — like how many Safe Play rounds were completed — to understand the feature. These are counts, not child profiles.
